Community
Forest Hill Chase has been a cornerstone of the community for over 60 years. We believe we’re more than just a shopping centre, we’re the centre of our community - a place to connect, support, and grow together.
That’s why we’re proud to be a true community hub, where local spirit is celebrated and everyone feels welcome.
Celebrating Local Connections
Partnering with Box Hill Central Rotary Club to Tackle Classroom Hunger
At Forest Hill Chase, we’re proud to support initiatives that uplift our local community — such as the Addressing Classroom Hunger project by Box Hill Central Rotary Club.
Each month, volunteers prepare and pack cheese sandwiches in our community space, which are delivered to seven local schools for students in need. Over 600 sandwiches have been delivered with schoolteachers reporting improved concentration, behaviour, and learning outcomes — all from the power of a simple lunch.
Thanks to our amazing partners:
- ALDI – Bread, spreads & cooler bags
- Sandwich Chefs – Sliced cheese
How you can help:
- Volunteer with Rotary
- Say hello when you see them in-centre
- Donate spreads or snacks

2025 Whitehorse Civic Award Winner
We’re still glowing from Tuesday night’s Whitehorse Civic Awards, where our very own Forest Hill Chase Community Space was honoured with the Community Achievement Award.
It was a beautiful celebration of local spirit, creativity and connection — and a proud reminder of what we’ve built together. A heartfelt thank you to every workshop host, local group, neighbour, and friendly face who has helped shape our Community Space into a warm, welcoming hub of support and shared stories.
Shop for Your Club
We’re passionate about supporting the grassroots organisations that bring people together.
That’s why we launched Shop for Your Club, a community rewards initiative helping local clubs earn funding just by shopping at the centre.
How It Worked
From 11 March to 20 April 2025, customers could shop at any Forest Hill Chase store and submit their receipts to earn points for their nominated club. The more receipts collected, the more points their club earned.
The competition was fierce, the support was heartfelt, and the impact was real — with $20,000 in funding distributed to the top three local clubs to fuel equipment upgrades, uniforms, and grassroots programs.
Participating Clubs
- Nunawading Basketball
