Santa's Healthy Cookie Recipe

Created by The Nutrition Guy, these Oat, Ginger and Cranberry Cookies are a healthy take on a sweet favourite that you'll be making for Christmases to come.
Oat, Ginger and Cranberry Cookies
Makes 12 | Prep time: 10 mins | Cook time: 10-12 mins
Ingredients:
- 100g melted butter
- 1 tbsp golden syrup
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ cup plain flour
- ¾ cup oats
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup dried cranberries
- 1 tsp dried ginger
- ¼ tsp allspice
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Add golden syrup and baking soda to butter and stir well to combine.
- Place the remaining ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
- Roll a small amount of mixture into balls and place on the baking tray. Leave a gap between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes and transfer to a wire rack to cool.
